What does the basic package include?

All our basic packages include:

  1. the transport of the equipment to and from your venue
  2. the installation and removal of equipment
  3. an operator who stays during the whole event
  4. unlimited and instant photos printing (one per session)
  5. unlimited and instant ‘send by email’ (up to 4 email addresses per session) if WIFI is available onsite
  6. animated and static photos
  7. 1 year cloud access for your digital photo
  8. 15x designs to choose from (names and dates are then added)
  9. Box of fun props which includes hats, wigs, feather boas, glasses
  10. LED lights

What are animated photos?

Animated photos are pictures taken in 3 different poses. Your guests will have 3 seconds between each pose. The photobooth will automatically add the 3 photos in loop to create an animated photo. These photos are mostly known as GIFs. The digital formats are sent in MP4 while the photos are printed in 3 small photos on the same 10 x 15 cms photo paper.

Is there an operator included?

Yes, one fully qualified operator will be present during the whole rental. We ensure that our operators know how to tackle with different kind of people and more particular after they had a few drinks. While the photobooth is meant to operate on its own (i.e. the touch screen allows anyone to take a picture, print and have fun), our operator will ensure to invite, explain and handle people so as everything goes smoothly. Moreover, the operator will intervene if (in rare cases) there is a technical problem with the photo booth. A few times the he or she will change paper and ribbon whenever there is a need.

How much space is required to setup the PhotoBooth?

We require normally a space of 3x3m and 4x4m if we setup a backdrop for you. This ensure that photos are taken without having other people in the picture while they wait or walk around.

How many photos can be taken during the rental?

Regardless of the number of hours you choose, the number of photos taken and printed is unlimited but bear in mind that only one photo is printed during a session unless you choose the ‘Printing Options’.

Can I change the schedule & location of my event after confirmation?

Yes, you can change up to 2 times the date, time and location 2 weeks before the event planned date subject to availability of our photobooth. We cannot guarantee availability upon rescheduling during the months of October, November and December.

Cloud access for digital photos

How to access my digital photos online after the event?

Shortly after your event (typically the next working day), you’ll receive an email with a link to access your photos online. This link will provide you a secured cloud access to both your animated pictures (GIF / MP4 format) and your static pictures (JPG format). You will need to sign-in with your email and then click on the blue button “Click to receive a one time login code”. Check your email afterwards (it will typically take 2 minutes). You’ll receive a code. Copy / paste the code back on the login screen to securely access your photobooth space. Then click on the ‘Gallery’ menu to view your photos.

How much time my photos will be available online?

Photos are stored for 1 year as from the date of your event. Please ensure to download your photos on your computer before this period. Please note that after your online space expires, there is no chance of retrieving the photos. Note as well that there won’t be any notification sent to you prior to account deletion.

What about giving access to my space to another person?

Only people who have received the email with the link can access the space online. To add other users, please reply to the email your initially received from us specifying the email addresses of the person you would like to add. Then allow us a few hours to add the person. We shall revert to confirm the same by email.

Options of the photobooth

While we include everything in the basic packages to ensure that you and your guests have the best possible experience and fun. Choosing among the options of the photobooth might a bit confusing. Here we shall explain a bit.

How do I choose the design of my photos?

During the booking of the photobooth, you can choose among the designs proposed. In case you can find anything that suits you or you want to have a specific design (colors, fonts, flower designs etc… of your choice), you can choose the option ‘Customized design’.

Printing Options

The dual print

For weddings (and birthdays), this is an interesting option. In the standard package, for each photo session one photo is printed. The dual photo print allows the printing of two similar photos for each session. You will however need to provide 3 things: a photo album, a pen and a glue stick. While one copy of the photo goes to the guest/s, the other one will be glued in the album by the guest himself. The guest will also leave a message next to his photo. As such, the album can be used as a guest book. At the end of your event, we shall handover the album to you.

Up to 5 prints

Maybe the best thing about the photobooth is the prints. However as previously explained, only 1 photo is printed for each session. In the case there are several persons in the shot and you really want each guest to have a print-out, this option allows up to 5 photos to be printed. For large groups, we can have several sessions and print up to 5 photos each time.

XL Printing

The standard photo size is the 10 x 15 cms. The XL Print option allows printing photos of 20 x 15cms. Impress your guests with this large format.

Custom Design

While we offer 15 photo frame designs for you to choose from, you can also opt for the customized design (if none of the proposed designs suits you). In some cases, you might want a more personal design or a design as per your theme (if any). For custom design, you can send us any existing design that you have already worked on in vector or PNG format. Please note that the fees for 'custom design' remains applicable since we shall have to rework your designs in the photobooth files format. 

Background options

Green Screen

This option requires the setup of a studio. It includes a green screen of 3m x 2m and 2 additional LED lights (so 3 in all). This allows any image to be included behind your guests when taking the photo. The green is replaced by a predefined image of your choice. Your guests will be able to see the image in real time in the touch screen and adjust their position as required. The image can be a photo, an artwork or a uniform color. The end results will amaze your guests since they will be in an immersive experience.

However please note that this setup requires an installation inside, under a terrace or under a tent. The place should be free of winds and sunlight. No light source should be at the back of the green screen. The green screen is generally installed in front of a wall. An area of at least 4m x 4m is required for the studio setup.

Gold Backdrop

The gold shimmering backdrop has also a dimension of 3m x 2m. As opposed to the green screen, the color is not replaced by another image. Your photos will just be taken as is.

4G / 5G Internet Access

The “send by email” feature is a standard feature of our photobooth but it requires an internet connection. This feature allows your guests to include their email addresses so that they get their pictures digitally straight in their inbox. If you have a reliable internet access (i.e. good connection speed) at your venue, then the photobooth can use this connection to send the individual emails to the guests. If not, you can opt for this option and we shall include a dedicated internet access so that the emails are sent instantly. Note that if ever there is no connection available at the venue and that you don’t take this option, emails will be sent within 1 week after our photobooth is back to our office.

TV Screens

Imagine your guests seeing and making fun of the people who had their photos taken by the photobooth? Choose between our large screens (40 and 60 inches) connected to our photobooth which will display both the animated and static pictures in a slide show. The screens are setup on a TV stand trolley and next to the crowd.

Additional setup options

In some cases, we require 1 additional person for the setup of the photobooth and as such there is and additional fee. These cases are:

  1. Setup of the equipment on the beach or more than 50m from the unloading place
  2. Setup 1 to 2 hours before the start of the rental period
  3. Relocation of equipment during the rental period.

Q&A’s

How to order the photobooth?

First go on the page photobooth booking. Fill in the form and submit. You will receive an automated email instantly email with your booking details. Within 1 to 2 working days, you will receive an email from us with your invoice and our bank details. 50% down payment is required to confirm the booking. Payment can be done by bank transfer or MCB Juice. Once we receive your payment, you will receive a confirmation email from us.

Is the setup time included in the rental hours?

No, we typically reach 30 minutes to one hour prior to start of the rental for the setup. As such the setup time does not impact on the rental hours.

Is there a background included?

The background is not included in our default package but is optional. However, the frame is included. By definition, everything that lies behind the people taking the photos is defined as the background and everything which is front is defined as the frame. The background will generally be what is found behind the people i.e. a wall, the view etc.

Can I have a photobooth without an operator?

The operator can deliver, configure and handle the installation for you. Once done the operator can wait outside the venue. You may opt for this option if you would like more intimacy during your event.

Do I require a photobooth when I have already hired a photographer?

In short, yes! The photobooth will generally take fun photos and don’t have the flexibility to shoot your guests wherever they are. However, photographers will find it suitable to take pictures while your guests are posing in front of the photobooth as they have fun with the props.

For which personal events is it great to book a photobooth?

Our Photo Booths are mostly booked for weddings (including receptions, other festivities and rituals related to the wedding), other personal events such as birthdays (including kid’s birthdays), farewell parties, christening or any other private events.

Do I have to cater for foods for the attendant ?

No. Since we don't stop at any point of time during the rental period, we usually bring our own food.
